Right Size Crate For Our
Newest Fur-Child

by Rich
(Kill Devil Hills, NC (OBX))

We have just gotten a 4 month old Boston Terrier that should reach no more than 10-12 pounds weight when full grown (from the size of both of her parents).

I have the dilemma of choosing a small crate (22L x 13W x 16H) that would fit her height wise & even length & width.

But this is going to be used mostly for her to be in during the day (split into morning & afternoon) with a pet care service that comes by at noon to let her & her big fur-brother out to potty & get some much needed exercise.

I'm wondering if the medium size crate at 24L x 18W x 21H (a Midwest 2 door collapsible life-stage crate) would give her more room to stretch out in both directions rather than the small crate which would only allow her to stretch out length-wise.

Any suggestions here?
