Questions About English Bulldogs

We are about to get our first English Bulldog puppy and I have a few questions.

While I have extensive experience as a dog owner, I have never had a bulldog...or any other breed that has the smooshed snout.

I am hoping someone here has this breed and can give me a little friendly guidance.

What kind of collar and leash system is recommended for this breed?

Is a 1 hour walk in the mornings too much or too little for the breed?

What method of correction works best? (I'm an avid Dog Whisperer fan so I love his methods, just want to make sure they work with this type of dog)
