Mr. Nice Turns Into Mr. Not-So-Nice

Mr. Nice Guy (Scully)

My dog has had surgery on his right rear paw twice and thus doesn't want me going near it even to remove a sand burr.

He is usually so easy going and you can do anything to him, but nail trimming is not fun.

He growls, pulls away and just goes into a panic. HELP!!!!

I am disabled and cannot get him to a groomer and there are no groomers that come to the house in my area. I don't want to upset him, but his nails are way TOO long.
