Introducing Your Outdoor Pooch To Dog Homes

By introducing dog homes to your pooch, you’ll be opening a whole new world of
outdoor comfort
.

But how do you get your pooch used to outdoor homes?

If your dog is crate trained you will probably have a much easier time getting your dog used to doggie homes.

Since a crate trained dog is already used to a den-like environment he should see dog homes as just another comfy den.

If your dog isn’t crate trained... you may need to work a little on getting your pup to use it.

Be patient… and never force or punish your dog. Using positive reinforcement to train a dog is always the best.

To get your pooch to accept his new home, try coaxing him with some tasty treats. Or try feeding your dog a meal or two in his new home.

And if your dog is having trouble getting used to his home, try putting some familiar things inside the home.

For your pooch to feel comfortable in doggie homes you could try putting in your dog’s favorite toy or his current dog bed.

It sometimes takes a little while for dogs to get used to their homes.

But with the comfort of familiar things, some doggie treat training, and your patient love, your pooch will soon feel right at home.
